Zephaniah: Hidden by the Lord

The day of the Lord is coming, is that good news or bad news? Zephaniah says that for some of the day of the Lord will be a day of great darkness and gloom, but not for others. Those that are hidden by the Lord will have great hope in day of the Lord. How can we be hidden by the Lord and have great hope in the day of the Lord?
